The Coogam Wooden Alphabet Magnetic Fishing Game comes with 2 fishing rods and 26 fish with letters and matching colours. A great game for hand eye co-ordination, letter and colour matching.
Recommended for children aged 3 years and up.
How WE used it/What we liked
A really fun game for fine motor work with the affected arm – either by holding the fishing rod, using kinesio tape to strap it to the hand, or using something like Foam Grip tubing to make the rod larger to hold for hands with low tone. Use hand with best function to remove the fish.
Look out for
Because of the accuracy required, there can be some frustration with missed attempts – provide assistance as needed to ensure success.
