The Tomy Hide & Squeak Eggs is a baby toy designed to help develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and cognitive abilities. The toy includes a carton with six brightly colored eggs with funny faces that can be opened to reveal different colored chicks inside. Each egg has a unique shape on the bottom that corresponds to a shape on the carton, encouraging infants to practice matching and sorting. When the chicks are squeezed, they make a squeaking noise. It is recommended for infants aged 6 months and up.
These are a cute little gg set, with fun pictures and colours in addition to being a good size to be able to grab them, or place them in the hand and get your child to pull them apart, or hold to push on the inside of the egg to make the “cheep” sound. Different shapes on the bases of the eggs provides for some co-ordination being required to find the right spot for them.
