The Tomy Hide & Squeak Nesting Eggs is a baby toy designed to help infants develop their hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and cognitive abilities. The toy includes a set of five brightly colored eggs that can be opened and nested inside each other, with the smallest egg making a squeak sound when pressed. It is recommended for infants aged 6 months and up.
We wanted a nice nesting toy and alot of the doll type ones weren’t quite right, but we liked these eggs as an alternative. Nice bright colours, and good size differences. The large one is a decent size, but we’d get our daughter to pull the smaller ones apart herself, or hold the lip of the bigger ones and place the others inside it to get it all back together. The “cheep” sound of pushing down the inside of the smallest egg is a fun addition and gives incentive to get to the middle.
These are potentially a bit bigger than you’d expect, especially the blue egg. If you want something smaller and uniform in size look at the crate Tomy Hide & Squeek Eggs.
