Galt Toys Pop Up Toy
The Galt Toys Pop Up Toy is a classic children’s toy designed to improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. It features 4 colourful figures that can be pushed down and spring up and out of the base thanks to use of springs. Recommended for children 1 year and up.
How WE used it/What we liked
Due to our daughters limited fine motor skills, we initially used this toy more as a “pull them out” type toy, where she’d have to try and reach and pull out the items, or to put them back in the spot when learning how to release. We’d also use it as a stretching exercise and help her hold out her index finger to use it as intended. A great toy if you’re working on isolated finger movements, especially index fingers. A really fun and simple toy though.
Look out for
It can be a bit fiddly depending on your child’s abilities, and falls over fairly easy to may need some support to keep it upright if you’re child doesn’t have great control.
