Playskool Poppin Elephant

The Playskool Poppin Elephant toy is an interactive and engaging toy that encourages fine motor skills and sensory exploration in young children. The elephant features colorful balls that pop out of its trunk in different configurations when pressed, providing sensory feedback and fun play.

Recommended for kids 9 months and up.

How WE used it/What we liked

This is a great toy that gave a few options in how it could be used by changing directions of the trunk which either spat the balls on the floor (great for encouraging mobility if your little one can get around), in the ears in a loop, or down to the collector at the bottom to pull the balls out and put back in the top (view the video on the page for all options). A really great cause and effect toy! Our daughter had limited hand function at the time so we’d help her place the balls in the ear, but would encourage her to use her affected hand to push the elephant hand to start the ball popping process as it was a nice gross motor skill. Could eventually use it as a toy to encourage the release of items as her hand function improved.

Look out for

Will need SOME hand function to be able to grasp the balls which aren’t big but some will struggle to get in if their hand is a bit tight.
